Grant applicants will compete for a cash grant to use in any community-based project, plan, vision, or dream to help make a positive impact in the Lead/Deadwood area. Applicants must be willing to provide a public presentation of their idea to those in attendance at the monthly Souper Starz Community Events. At this event, up to 6 grant applicants will present their vision and event attendees will cast their vote for the project of their choice. The applicant with the most votes will be immediately awarded a cash grant to make their dream a reality.
Any individual, organization or group within the Lead/Deadwood School system boundaries is eligible to apply. Those with a desire to make a difference in the community are encouraged to go for their dream and submit their project. People with big dreams and a drive to succeed are needed.
Applications need to be completed and submitted two weeks prior to every month’s events. You can submit an application using the form below or pick one up at Lotus Up Espresso – 95 Main St, Lead.
